E-week Award Ceremony at Jaipur (05th March 2016)



The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon got two awards at Jaipur. One was the Championship Trophy and the other was E-week@school innovations award.

  Workshop on E-myth by Mr. Rohit(2-5 March 2016)




The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon in association with Footsteps organised an Entrepreneurship Awareness camp which presents "E-Myths"-Bust all myths in Engineering by Mr. Rohit Karmadkar. It included the workshops and different activity which included making of Model for Cargo to be delivered for flooded people. It aims at manifesting the latent entrepreneurial spirit among the budding technocrats. Entrepreneurship involves planning and starting a business, taking advantage of a business opportunity, assuming the risks of a business venture, and providing some kind of innovation.   Expert Session (4-6 February 2016)


Entrepreneurship Development Cell(EDC) at Dronacharya college of Engineering in association with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad organised Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp "Expert Session". It was a three day event in which three different experts delivered sessions on Entrepreneurship and made students aware about entrepreneurship.

The 2nd Indo-German SME Forum jointly organized by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) programme of GIZ, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Small Industries Development Bank of India, Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

  Conclave on Entrepreneurship organized by AICTE (19th September 2014)



The Conclave was inaugurated by Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, Minister of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, and was addressed by senior government functionaries and successful Entrepreneurs in various sectors from across the Country.

  NEN “E-Leaders Workshop” (25th January 2014)



A NEN E-leaders workshop was held at Jagannath Institute of Management on 25th January 2014. The basic objectives behind this program were: Contribute towards accelerating India's economic development: creating jobs through entrepreneurship. Be a winning leader-acquire leadership skills, building and leading a team, raising funds, networking and event management.

  Empoering the Nation Through Women Entrepreneurship (21st February 2014)



“Empowering the Nation through Women Entrepreneurship” was held on 21st February 2013 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi organized by Delhi Management Association (DMA) in collaboration with Indus Business Academy (IBA). The objective of this conference was to build up a bridge between women entrepreneurship and empowerment and to address the impediments which act as road blocks towards successful women entrepreneurship.

  Entrepreneurship Week (11 -13 February 2014)



By the establishment of an Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) since 2009, the college has strived to educate and train people by developing entrepreneurial capabilities through positive training interventions. E-week of 2013 was celebrated at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon with vigour and enthusiasm keeping in mind the Theme for this E week i.e. “Innovation For India”. DCE collaborated with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) and Technopreneur Promotion Program (TePP).

  International Global Entrepreneurship Summit-2013 (13th January 2013)



Department of Information Technology got the opportunity to attend a three-day International Summit “Global Entrepreneurship Summit” organised by Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur from 11th to 13th January 2013. The objective of this Summit was to provide a platform for academicians, new-age entrepreneurs, eminent business personalities, venture capitalists and the students to share their innovative and entrepreneurial endeavors for aspiring entrepreneurs.

  Entrepreneurship Orientation Program 2012 (17th August 2012)



The objective of this celebration was to make the students aware about entrepreneurship and its scope for young technocrats. The one-day program also intended to motivate students to create jobs for themselves and also to develop individuals from varied backgrounds, who have the courage to dream, the potential to make a difference, the ability to believe in themselves and the determination to convert their thoughts into action.

  Invent the Future (14-15 February 2012)




Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon celebrated E-WEEK on 14th-15th February 2012 with the theme “INVENT THE FUTURE”. The objective of this celebration was to inspire all into donning the lens of an entrepreneur and delving into local issues and fundamental challenges of water scarcity, garbage, traffic problems, pollution, power etc.
