A NEN E-leaders workshop was held at Jagannath Institute of Management on 25th January 2014. The basic objectives behind this program were: Contribute towards accelerating India's economic development: creating jobs through entrepreneurship. “Empowering the Nation through Women Entrepreneurship” was held on 21st February 2013 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi organized by Delhi Management Association (DMA) in collaboration with Indus Business Academy (IBA). The objective of this conference was to build up a bridge between women entrepreneurship and empowerment and to address the impediments which act as road blocks towards successful women entrepreneurship.
By the establishment of an Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) since 2009, the college has strived to educate and train people by developing entrepreneurial capabilities through positive training interventions. Department of Information Technology got the opportunity to attend a three-day International Summit “Global Entrepreneurship Summit” organised by Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur from 11th to 13th January 2013. The objective of this Summit was to provide a platform for academicians, new-age entrepreneurs, eminent business personalities, venture capitalists and the students to share their innovative and entrepreneurial endeavors for aspiring entrepreneurs.
